How can I make a reservation?
You can make a reservation on the IBIZA MOBILITY EXPERT S.L.U. website. You can also contact us via phone, WhatsApp, web, or email.
How do I know my reservation is confirmed?
Your reservation will be confirmed once payment has been made or if one of our agents has confirmed it through any contact channel. Reservations are confirmed once a part of the final price (minimum 20%) or the full amount of the reservation is paid.
How far in advance do I need to make my reservation?
There is no set time, but we recommend making the reservation as early as possible to benefit from potential discounts or lower prices.
Can I reserve a rental car for longer than a month?
At IBIZA MOBILITY EXPERT S.L.U., you can reserve a vehicle for as long as you need. We have different contract types, from one day to Open Renting contracts for periods longer than a month. For a custom quote, we recommend contacting us.
Can I reserve a specific model?
We guarantee a specific vehicle; however, if there are issues with the reserved or chosen model due to a breakdown or other problems, we guarantee a vehicle of the same category or higher.
Can I modify my reservation?
You can modify your reservation without any issues more than 72 hours before the vehicle pick-up. For modifications made less than 72 hours in advance, a reservation modification fee will be charged. We recommend contacting us for any changes or variations to the initial reservation.
Can I cancel my reservation?
You can cancel your reservation at no cost more than 72 hours in advance. For cancellations made less than 72 hours in advance, a penalty of 50% of the initial reservation will be charged.
How can I modify or cancel my reservation?
By phone, WhatsApp, email, or by visiting our offices in Ibiza located at Carretera Aeropuerto km. 5,5 (Pol. Ind. Can Frigoles nave 6) 07817 Sant Jordi de Ses Salines – Ibiza (Illes Balears).
What documentation do I need to complete my reservation?
Your full details including your usual residence address as the driver or renter, your phone number, and email, and a credit card in the name of the person making the rental and listed as the first person on the contract.
If there are additional drivers, they must provide the same information except for the credit card.
Do I have to pay when reserving?
You must pay if you make the reservation through the website, by phone, or by email, as this will confirm your reservation.
Payment can be made by credit card, bank transfer, Bitcoin, or cash up to a maximum of €999.
I don’t have a credit card, can I reserve another way?
Yes, with accepted Cryptocurrency or bank transfer, with two payments: (1) the rental reservation including all contracted services (2) the full deposit of the selected rental vehicle.
What is the maximum rental period?
It depends on the rental contract; there are different contract types.
Can I rent a car by the hour?
You can rent a car for the time you need, with a minimum charge for 24 hours.
Can I rent a car for months?
Yes, up to a maximum of 60 days.
How can I rent a car for a long term, more than 60 days?
You should contact us, and we will explain the conditions.
How old do I need to be to rent a car?
21 years old or 2 years of experience, validated by the date on the national or international driving license.
Can I bring pets in the car?
As long as you have an appropriate means of transport for them and maintain necessary hygiene measures.
Can I modify the rental duration after picking up the rental car?
You must contact us for changes to generate a new contract with the established and approved changes.
Are the offers valid at any time?
Offers have a start and end date. They are valid as long as the reservation is confirmed during the validity period.
Can I rent a car with my international driving permit?
The international permit must always be accompanied by the local permit as it is a translation; one is not a substitute for the other.
My address is not current on my identity document. Can I rent a car?
Yes, as long as you provide the correct details at the time of pick-up.
What types of cars are available at IBIZA MOBILITY EXPERT?
You will find a wide range of vehicles: convertibles, sedans, SUVs, and vans.
How new are the cars at IBIZA MOBILITY EXPERT?
Our entire fleet is new and owned.
Are there manual and automatic cars at IBIZA MOBILITY EXPERT?
We have automatic and manual vehicles. If you want a specific one, you must choose the “automatic” or “manual” category. We recommend specifying this in the reservation notes.
Should I reserve a baby seat or booster?
To guarantee the availability of these extras, we recommend making a prior reservation or notifying us as early as possible. Without prior reservation of your needs, we cannot guarantee availability when you come to pick up the vehicle.
Can I bring my own baby seat or booster?
You can bring your own extras without any problem.
Can I count on your help to install the extras?
Of course, we are here to help you; however, you must check the suitability, use, and installation in the vehicle. IBIZA MOBILITY EXPERT S.L.U. does not assume responsibility for lack of use or incorrect installation of the child restraint device or extras.
Can I add an additional driver?
Of course! You can add an additional driver when making your reservation, when picking up the vehicle at our office, or during the rental period. Remember that with IBIZA MOBILITY EXPERT, the second driver incurs an additional cost.
Is there an extra charge for a young additional driver?
A “Young Driver” is considered anyone under 23 years old. No supplement needs to be paid for this.
Is it possible to have a personalized car delivery?
It is possible as long as it is confirmed with the office.
Should I bring my credit card if I reserve online?
The owner of the credit card must always be present in our offices along with their valid National Identity Document or Passport. The same card used to pay for the reservation through the website will be requested to block the deposit.
What credit cards are accepted?
Visa, Mastercard, and American Express (5% surcharge).
Can I pay for someone else?
You can pay for someone else as long as they are present at the vehicle pick-up or have previously visited the office to make the payment along with the requested documents.
Is it possible to pay in cash or with a debit card?
Rental payment can be made by debit card in person at our offices, NOT THROUGH THE WEB, but the deposit will ALWAYS be made with a valid and authorized credit card.
When is the car rental payment made?
All payments will be made in advance, except for extras that may arise during the rental period such as fuel or additional days if extending the contract by phone or email.
When is the deposit blocked?
Once the vehicle is to be picked up at the office.
How much is blocked on my credit card when renting a car?
It depends on the rented vehicle.
Can I leave the deposit in cash?
Cash deposits are not accepted.
Can I travel to other Balearic islands?
For security reasons, traveling to other islands (Formentera, Mallorca, and Menorca) or the mainland is prohibited. The rented vehicle is only for use and enjoyment within the island of IBIZA.
Can I travel through Europe with an IBIZA MOBILITY EXPERT car?
No, in no case.
What happens if I return the car without fuel?
At IBIZA MOBILITY EXPERT, we do not profit from fuel. We would refuel the vehicle and charge for the relevant liters plus an additional refueling fee of €40.
Is my car fueled upon pick-up?
Your car will be fully fueled when you pick it up, including levels and AdBlue.
What type of fuel does my car use?
The fuel depends on the rented vehicle, either Diesel or Gasoline 95/98. We will inform you of the type of fuel once you receive the car at our office.
How many kilometers can I drive with my car per day?
We offer a minimum of 100 / 150 km per day depending on the vehicle.
What is the cost of excess mileage?
It depends on the model/category.
What coverage does the car have with just the rental price?
We work with comprehensive insurance coverage with a rental guarantee deposit depending on the rented vehicle.
If my car is robbed, are my belongings covered?
IBIZA MOBILITY EXPERT S.L.U. is not responsible for belongings left inside the vehicle. For greater security, we recommend leaving the car empty of any items once it is vacated.
Can I request home delivery of the car or at a specific location?
We offer free home delivery within the IBIZA CITY AIRPORT AND PORT area and anywhere else on the island with prior confirmation at least 48 hours in advance.
How can I book personalized delivery?
Contact us or manage it when making your reservation.
Is it necessary to be present for the car delivery or pick-up?
It is necessary to be present at the time of vehicle delivery. Both the renter and the driver must present the documentation to rent the vehicle. For returns, only the driver needs to be present as the deposit will be refunded automatically.
What if the car group I reserved is not available?
If the group of the reserved and pre-paid vehicle is not available, IBIZA MOBILITY EXPERT S.L.U.
will provide you with one of the same or higher category.
What do I do if I am not satisfied with the condition of the rented car?
Inform us before leaving the office so we can review it with IBIZA MOBILITY EXPERT S.L.U. staff and, if necessary, change the vehicle or take necessary measures to ensure you
